Download Free Software Aircraft Flight Test Program

For those that feel they have the required knowledge to pass the Private Knowledge Test, this course will give you the opportunity to take some practice exams online and, if you’re ready, will sign-off to take the actual test.

  1. Flight Program Software
  2. Flight Simulation Software Free

Gleim Flight/Ground Instructor + FOI Test Prep Online Software. Software to help you prepare for the FAA Flight / Ground Instruction Knowledge Written Exam. Also includes Fundamentals of Instructing. Please feel free to send comments on any program for the NOTES column in the following table. If you know of any other aviation software or software sites, let Max know. Aircraft Performance Program (APP) is a specialized software for aircraft performance analysis. APP computes the complete range of aircraft performance parameters over a user-specified range of altitudes, speeds and other variables. Take your flight simulation to the next level with the expansive Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Gold Edition. Create your own routes, fly across the world, and even make your very own airplanes. Plus, with mission-based play, your time in the skies can last for hours at a time with over 80 assignments from around the globe.

The software mimics the format of some of the actual computer testing programs being used by flight schools, making the transition between our practice tests and the real FAA exam incredibly seamless. According to one of our first time users, “You won’t know the difference!”

There are two versions of the testing program.

The free version will allow you to take as many random practice tests as you wish. The tests are generated using the latest bank of known FAA questions.

Runway Exit Design Interactive Model V3 (REDIM-V3)REDIM is a computer model developed to locate and design high-speed runway exits at airports. The model uses kinematic equations to characterize the aircraft landing dynamics and a polynomial-time dynamic programming algorithm to find the optimal locations of the high-speed exits. The objective of the optimization algorithm is to minimize the weighted average runway occupancy time (ROT) of an aircraft mix selected by the user. A database of aircraft characteristics for four terminal Aircraft Approach Categories (AAC) has been included in the model to facilitate its use in a large variety of airport environments and conditions. The database file relieves the user's deltas. See the Taxiway Fillet Design Tool User's Guide(PDF) for instructions.5/2018
